Gospel Preacher Beaten in NY Subway

[New York, NY] An older man who was quietly sharing the Gospel on a New York City subway was beaten on October 24, 2019, according to the NYPD. The man was hit in the head with a high-heeled shoe by an offended woman who fled the scene on foot.

According to sources, the woman became agitated as an argument over sin and righteousness occurred. Previous to this, it does not seem that the man was agitating the crowd. He was apparently singing Christian hymns and quietly sharing Jesus with people on the subway.

Bystanders immediately responded and helped the man, who was bleeding from a visible head wound received from the high-heeled shoe he was struck with. In the video below, passengers could be seen asking the man to sit down because he was dazed, and another individual could be heard encouraging him to keep pressure on his bleeding wound.

Normally it is not a life-threatening activity to preach the good news of Jesus Christ in North America. This is evidence that our society is becoming far less tolerant and dangerous to be a Christian. Here is the patience and faith of the saints, indeed.

Come, Lord Jesus.
