This is a presentation I made for my place of fellowship when one of the Sunday School teachers accused the Sunday School Director of getting too “Evangelical.” I figured I had better explain that “Evangeleo” is the Greek word that means “Good News” and that “Disciple” comes from the Greek “Mathetes,” meaning a pupil, in this case of Jesus and why it is so critical for any gathering to be involved in evangelism and Discipleship.

Relationship, not religion…

Does everything “go better” with Jesus?

Today, I am addressing the school of thought that says “things go better with Jesus,” like the old Coca cola commercial used to claim about the product it sold.  Is this in fact the case?
